Safety
Honor 10 uses standard user identification using a fingerprint scanner located under the screen. You can save five fingerprints in your smartphone's memory.

In the iPhone X, Apple, on the contrary, decided to abandon the fingerprint scanner and completely switch to Face ID technology. Honor also has face unlocking.
But if the Chinese implement it as standard using the front camera, then the iPhone uses a special infrared sensor. This allows you to successfully unlock the screen even in complete darkness.
Identification occurs quickly. A complex self-learning algorithm using elements of artificial intelligence is used.
When it comes to resisting hacking and other malware, iOS 11 is a more secure system than Android 8.1. It is a closed OS, less flexible and poorly customizable. But this allows iOS to remain more secure.
Autonomy
The battery capacity of the iPhone X is smaller than that of the Honor 10 – 2716 mAh versus 3400 mAh. But, thanks to the more energy-efficient Amoled screen, as well as excellent iOS optimization, the iPhone’s battery lasts even a little longer than Honor’s.
In general, the devices demonstrate mediocre autonomy. They are enough for one day, but for two they are already difficult, unless you save a lot of resources.
Models support fast charging technology. Moreover, Honor includes an adapter for fast charging, while iPhone does not. Indeed, you shouldn’t just put it in an expensive charger along with a device that at the start of sales cost 80 thousand rubles.
The tenth iPhone can add wireless charging support, which its competitor does not have, to its list of advantages.
According to the declared characteristics of the camera, the Honor 10 is better than the iPhone X. The main one of both devices is double – 24 + 16 MB for Honor and 12 + 12 MB for the iPhone. Front, respectively, 24 megapixels and 7 megapixels.
This once again proves that the number of megapixels is far from the main indicator of quality. iPhone X has one of the best cameras in the industry. It perfectly shoots both landscapes in difficult lighting conditions and in portrait mode with background blur. The camera has impressive autofocus, detail and color reproduction.
Honor is almost as good as the iPhone in photography and takes excellent photos. This is where the full power of Huawei’s developments in the field of artificial intelligence comes into play. Skillful post-processing brings out well those shots where the optics were in some way unfinished.
If we compare the quality of video shooting, then the iPhone X has a clear advantage. The Apple camera focuses quickly and accurately, compensates well for shaking, and records sound clearly. Honor sometimes loses focus and the image is less stabilized.
Performance
When comparing flagship models, you expect to see flagship processors on them. And both manufacturers did not disappoint these expectations.
The processors here are really powerful - the six-core A11 Bionic for the iPhone and the eight-core HiSilicon Kirin 970 for the Honor.
Honor has more RAM – 4 MB versus 3 MB. But given how efficiently iOS uses memory, this advantage is offset.
In all synthetic tests, the A11 processor is slightly ahead of the Kirin 970, but in everyday use this is in no way noticeable.
The processors are so fast that they will easily handle all applications for a long time. As for resource-intensive games, the iPhone has a slight advantage.
