Xiaomi, Meizu or Huawei – who is cooler among Chinese brands?

Let's hit the cons of the Chinese giant.

Recently a wonderful video arrived from Belarus. The Svyaznoy saleswoman took a Xiaomi smartphone and recorded a message for its future owner. In addition, the girl said that when a consultant advises you on Huawei, you should take Huawei, not Xiaomi.

After this there was a scandal. Now the Belarusian Svyaznoy does not sell either Xiaomi or Redmi - they have been banned.

Unfortunately, this lady is an extremely unreasonable creature. She not only framed her employer, but also said outright nonsense. Because it’s obvious: Xiaomi is much cooler than Huawei or Honor. We responded with our video, but if you are too lazy to watch, there is a text version. It's below, after the video.

Point one: let's take into account that almost all Chinese brands make rogue devices by default. But Xiaomi lowers the bar much lower: for 4 thousand you can get a relatively decent Redmi Go. Huawei simply doesn’t have such prices - this is a minus for the mass buyer, who is already heavily indebted.

Next are the processors. Almost all Huawei have their Kirin, which is inferior to Snapdragon in terms of graphics, and most importantly, it does not allow Google Camera to fail, which brilliantly improves the quality of photos. Therefore, for example, night shots in most budget Honor and Huawei are simply monstrous.

Third - virgin Android. Let's take Xiaomi Mi A2 - Android there is cleaner than dishes in an infectious diseases hospital. And this means less lags, more updates, the system itself is beautiful, and not Huawei icons, which stylistically look more tasteless than a book case in 2021.

Next stop: batteries. Come on, Huawei fans, do your research. Most budget Xiaomi have 4000 mAh batteries. How many of these smart phones does Honor have? One? 8C? Well, raise the statistics, they will not be in your favor.

Huawei’s disgusting policy on connectors is also infuriating. Smart is cheaper than 15K - that’s it, keep micro-USB, a mediocre standard from 2000. Xiaomi is finally switching to Type-C, even in the Redmi line, in the same Note 7. Great!

If we talk about flagships, then here everything is not in favor of Huawei. These Chinese are openly clamping down on AMOLED screens, and Xiaomi with such a matrix has both Mi 8 and Mi 9 SE, which cost about 23 thousand. All Honor and Huawei have LCD displays for this money, but for AMOLED you have to pay 50 thousand. Nonsense. What are you, Apple?

  • Replacing the battery on a Huawei phone in St. Petersburg

In addition, Xiaomi does not bombard the user with all sorts of marketing bullshit. What does Huawei have? GPU Turbo (10 games supporting this technology), a camera with artificial intelligence - it’s all a dummy, a pacifier, nonsense, dust in the eyes. You buy Honor and realize that somewhere you are being fooled. At Xiaomi, everything is minimalistic, but honest and without show-off.

And in general, Xiaomi is a company that has an ideology. They sell a bunch of things, from pens to bracelets, from scales to scooters. And they openly declare that their mission is to make sure that everyone on earth has a smartphone. Xiaomi fans appeared for a reason - many of them are drawn precisely by the brand’s philosophy.

How will Huawei respond? This is a company that was caught wiretapping and industrial espionage. From year to year, Huawei bosses just talk about how they need to overtake Apple. Well, you overtake (although it’s unlikely), and then what? There is no super mission, it's sad. It’s a pity for such businessmen: in 32 years since its founding, not developing a global goal is serious.

Briefly speaking. The “executioner” respects Xiaomi more than Huawei. Here are the five best (in our opinion) Xiaomi models in terms of price and quality ratio:

Xiaomi Mi A2

Redmi Note 7

Xiaomi Mi 8

Xiaomi Mi 9

Redmi Go

In recent years, Xiaomi, Meizu and Huawei have consistently been among the leaders among Chinese smartphone manufacturers. Anyone who begins to choose an inexpensive and high-quality mobile gadget for themselves must make a comparison between the smartphones of these companies. Both Xiaomi and Huawei have their undoubted advantages, but their phones are not without their disadvantages. How do you know which smartphone to choose? Here, as usual, it is better to build on your own preferences. We offer a comparison of Xiaomi and Huawei phones, highlighting their main pros and cons.

Huawei smartphones: advantages

Variety of models

In terms of the variety of assortment in our comparison, Xiaomi vs Huawei does not stand up to competition. With a few exceptions, most Xiaomi phones are nothing more than aluminum rectangles in appearance. On the other hand, Huawei offers metal, glass, and plastic options. Among the current flagships, Huawei also has a much wider choice.

Own chipsets

Unlike Xiaomi and Meizu, Huawei installs its own chipsets in smartphones. For comparison, besides Huawei, only two smartphone manufacturers are doing this - Samsung and Apple. So there is no dependence on third-party suppliers, and it is possible to quickly optimize any software, as well as timely release updates for the software platform.

Official representative offices

If Xiaomi and Meizu in the CIS countries have only distribution companies promoting their products, then Huawei has its own official representative offices. Therefore, clients are guaranteed good service, and local markets are guaranteed to be explored much better. This also allows the company to provide adequate technical support to smartphone users. If necessary, repairing Huawei smartphones is easier and faster, and therefore this company seems more reliable.

Cameras

A review of Huawei cameras has more than once left me in awe. The company has a clear focus on developing high-quality camera modules, often in collaboration with the world-renowned Leica. It is not surprising that the Chinese are already catching up with Samsung and Apple in the quality of mobile photos. If we compare with Xiaomi, then in the category of budget smartphones there is approximately equality, and in terms of flagship cameras, Huawei wins by one wicket.

Network Compatibility

Comparing Xiaomi and Meizu and trying to make a choice, we note that Huawei supplies the Russian market with products that are absolutely compatible with our networks. Xiaomi smartphones are inferior in this regard, although not much. For example, Band 20 LTE is usually not in the list of available frequencies.

Flagships

Meizu 16th

Price: 31,880 rubles

Meizu 16th received a 6-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2160 by 1080 pixels. All the advantages of the matrix are evident here - natural color rendition, rich colors and maximum viewing angles. The processor is Snapdragon 845, which is complemented by 4 or 6 GB of RAM, depending on the configuration. The combination is top-notch - it will last you for the next year, at least. At the same time, in all games you can safely set the maximum graphic parameters, and messengers and other applications will open instantly.

In our opinion, the main advantage of the Meizu 16th is its cameras. The rear is represented by two modules – 12 and 20 MP. Due to the fact that the main Sony IMX 380 sensor is equipped with an F/1.8 aperture, and is supported by an additional module with a telephoto lens and an F/2.6 aperture, which is responsible for triple zoom and portrait shots, photographs are obtained with a high dynamic range and correct white balance in daylight lighting At night the situation is a little worse, but not too critical. Mostly the noise is annoying.

Smartphone Meizu 16th 6/64GB

Xiaomi Mi8

Price: 25,900 rubles

Xiaomi Mi8 is one of the company's most popular models. The image in it is displayed on a 6.21-inch display with a resolution of 2248 by 1080 pixels. The screen is made using AMOLED technology, so there is plenty of brightness, the contrast level is high, and the viewing angles are maximum. Xiaomi Mi8 is built on the basis of the flagship Snapdragon 845 chipset. It is complemented by 6 GB of RAM. The filling is productive and can easily cope with any game.

The main camera consists of a 12 MP Sony IMX363 sensor with an aperture of F/1.8 and a Samsung S5K3M3 sensor with an F/2.4 aperture and identical resolution. The set is complemented by the presence of support for four-axis optical stabilization. The second module can be used for both 2x zoom and portrait shots. The developers placed special emphasis on the capabilities of artificial intelligence in cameras. Thanks to it, pictures are automatically corrected and adjusted to the type of content and environment being shot. In general, it has a lot of possibilities, but to get acquainted with them, it is better to look at the review. All this allows Xiaomi Mi8 to take excellent and clear pictures with a high level of detail.

Smartphone Xiaomi Mi8 6/64GB

Result:

Which phone is better Xiaomi Mi8 or Meizu 16th? In our opinion, as in the previous two cases, the advantage is on the side of the Xiaomi flagship. The displays of both solutions are almost the same, but the Mi8 has an advantage in size, although the contrast, detail and color rendition parameters of both screens are fine. There is no difference in performance. Xiaomi Mi8 has better photo capabilities, largely due to better sensors, as well as more successfully implemented artificial intelligence.

Huawei smartphones: disadvantages

Confusion in the lineup

Huawei has more models, which is great, but it would be nice to structure them. By releasing a lot of versions of the same smartphone, the company often produces the same model for different countries with different “fillings”. This gives rise to misunderstandings and consumer misunderstanding of the product's features.

For example, Honor 5C, sold in China, has a fingerprint scanner, but the smartphone on the Russian market does not have it. In Ukraine, the same gadget is called Huawei GT3 and is offered with a scanner. And if you take into account the abundance of gray market products, you can only guess what kind of misunderstandings this could result in.

On-screen buttons

Only one budget Huawei model for 2021 has touch buttons under the screen - this is the Y3 II model. For the rest, the buttons are placed directly on the screen, and on the bottom there is only the manufacturer’s logo, the presence of which, to put it mildly, is neither cold nor hot. There is an illiterate use of useful screen space, and this at a time when developers are doing everything they can to save every millimeter. If we talk about Xiaomi, then only one phone has on-screen buttons - this is Mi Mix. But it has a “mitigating circumstance” in the form of a significantly elongated display.

Problem with oleophobic coating

It is difficult to say for what reason Huawei does not put an oleophobic coating on its phones, which performs water- and grease-repellent functions. One way or another, its advantages have long been clear to everyone, but for some reason the manufacturer stubbornly refuses to install it. If you compare it with Xiaomi, then the competitor puts it on every gadget, easily beating the opponent in this criterion. Of course, the quality of this coating from Xiaomi leaves much to be desired, but that’s another story.

Expensive

Since Huawei began to be considered one of the best smartphone manufacturers, the cost of the company's products has been steadily increasing. Even though we are accustomed to the fact that Chinese goods cannot be expensive, Huawei refutes this thesis. Of course, in return, excellent quality is provided (also a strange phenomenon, as for Chinese phones), but many are surprised why Chinese gadgets cost the same as gadgets from the Korean and much more famous Samsung.

Available smartphones

Meizu Note 8

Price: 15,880 rubles

Externally, Meizu Note 8 looks like a flagship - the body is made of metal, while it is thin and ergonomic, and is also decorated with a frameless 6-inch display with a resolution of 2160 by 1080 pixels. The main feature of the screen is the absence of cutouts. It performed excellently in its work - viewing angles are wide, due to which color rendition does not change when viewing at an angle. There are also no complaints about the accuracy of white color display - the colors are natural without visible deviations in the white color. The oleophobic coating evokes only positive emotions.

Meizu Note 8 is built on the Snapdragon 632 chipset, complemented by 4 GB of RAM. The combination is fast, it is more than enough for any everyday tasks, and you can safely count on running modern games. In some, you will be able to set the maximum graphic settings without significant drops in FPS. The photographic capabilities of the smartphone are average - the main 12+5 MP camera is capable of producing good results in the presence of sufficient lighting, but in its absence the quality of the images drops noticeably. The front camera is content with an 8-megapixel sensor with an F/2.0 aperture. In order to make portrait photographs of higher quality, Face AE technology was used. It may help, but not significantly. The photographs clearly lack contrast and sharpness.

Smartphone Meizu Note 8

Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro

Price: 13,870 rubles

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro display has a 6.25-inch diagonal and a resolution of 2280 by 1080 pixels. The matrix is calibrated in the best way - in any operating scenario, the image on the display remains saturated and juicy, and due to the maximum viewing angles, this does not change even when the gadget is rotated. The processor for Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is Snapdragon 636. The chipset is complemented by 4 GB of RAM. The bundle is not the top-end, but for undemanding users it will be enough. If your plans do not include games, then you don’t need more. Although you can play with it even in PUBG, but not at maximum settings.

The main camera in Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is represented by two modules 12 and 5 MP. The aperture of the main sensor is F/1.9. Due to this, the pictures are detailed and with the correct color balance. As for the dual 20+2 MP front camera, the situation is even better. If you love selfies, then you should definitely pay attention to this model. The smartphone will give you high-quality pictures without problems with the color range and saturation level.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro

Result:

As in the first case, when comparing the two models, the advantage is on the side of the smartphone from Xiaomi. If in terms of displays they are practically the same, the only difference is the presence of bangs on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, then in all other respects the situation is different. Snapdragon 636 is more powerful than Snapdragon 632, and its graphics core is more powerful. True, the difference is minimal. But the cameras are much more different. Here Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro looks like the undisputed favorite - the pictures are higher quality, more detailed and their color rendition is closer to natural. Moreover, this applies to both the front camera and the main camera. All this is complemented by the fact that Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is cheaper than its competitor.

Xiaomi smartphones: advantages

Price

The first thing a consumer looks at is the price of a smartphone. And if this criterion is the main one in the question of which phone to choose - Xiaomi or hHuawei, then preference will definitely be given to the first. Xiaomi, in principle, has no competitors in the budget segment. Moreover, you shouldn’t expect Huawei to release some kind of flagship for $300, while Xiaomi is proving the possibility of this, and not only in theory, but also in practice.

Autonomy

Even budget Xiaomi gadgets have very powerful batteries, the capacity of which often exceeds 4000 mAh. At the same time, it is possible to maintain an acceptable thickness of the case, which users clearly like, based on their reviews.

  • Review of the Huawei Honor 8C smartphone: a thrifty budget employee

Excellent performance

Xiaomi doesn’t make its own hardware, but it puts high-quality foreign hardware into its smartphones. The company's flagships invariably find themselves in the top 10 in synthetic benchmark ratings. Xiaomi doesn’t have any cheap and weak gadgets at all, if you don’t take into account the junior model of the budget “four” Redmi 4A, but its price is less than $100.

Display

The first thing that catches your eye when you pick up the MX5 and Honor 7 is the difference in screen diagonal. The Meizu representative has a 5.5-inch screen, while Huawei has only 5.2 inches. At the same time, the resolution of smartphones is the same - 1920x1080.

Both smartphones boast large IPS touch screens that support up to 10 simultaneous touches. Thanks to the oleophobic coating, both devices are well protected from marks and scratches.

The following can be said about screen brightness. Even in bright light, it is not difficult to see the image on both phones. But the AMOLED panel installed on the phone from Meizu gives slightly better brightness, but this is not so noticeable.

In general, the flagships do not receive any comments regarding their design. However, if you like larger screens, then most likely your choice will fall on the Meiza MX5. But it is too early to draw clear conclusions.

Xiaomi smartphones: disadvantages

Confusion with firmware

Like Huawei, Xiaomi is trying to bring as many mobile device models to the market as possible, and the software platform often suffers from this. Some models are aimed at the Chinese market, others at the European market, some have already received firmware updates, while others have not, etc. Add to this a locked bootloader, which makes it difficult to flash gadgets on your own, and in this regard, Huawei seems preferable.

Cameras

A review of Xiaomi cameras always has to end with a consoling phrase like: “What did you want for that kind of money?” But, honestly, I would like to see, at least in flagships, improved camera modules. It is completely unclear why they installed a poor camera on the innovative Mix, which simply kills the advantages of a large screen with excellent resolution? It’s time to improve something in this direction, because in terms of cameras, Huawei has almost any smartphone better than its competitor.

Chipsets from MediaTek

Users have long decided for themselves what to choose among hardware platforms: chips from Snapdragon are an order of magnitude better than those from MediaTek. Nevertheless, Xiaomi persistently alternates processors from these manufacturers on its smartphones. It is these chipsets that suffer from overheating, and it is because of them that many people get the impression that Xiaomi phones invariably overheat and quickly enter throttling mode.

Meizu or Xiaomi: whose smartphones are better?

“Meizu or Xiaomi” is another eternal topic of debate. This is the same as “Mercedes-Benz or BMW”, “Apple or Google”, “Pepsi or Coca-Cola” - there is no definite correct answer and there cannot be. I don’t see the point in comparing the appearance and shell of smartphones - it’s too personal; or the quality of screens, cameras and autonomy - in devices of the same price category the parameters will be similar. But there are things in which Meizu is definitely better than Xiaomi, and Xiaomi is definitely better than Meizu.

Meizu advantages

mBack button. It is sensory-mechanical: touching it takes you back a step, pressing it takes you to the main screen. The list of running programs is called up by swiping across the screen from bottom to top or from right to left.

The main advantage of mBack over three touch buttons (or two touch and one mechanical) on Xiaomi is the additional free space under the display. In landscape orientation, you can hold the phone by the bottom edge and not be afraid of accidentally pressing the Back key or launching the task manager. This is convenient when watching videos and playing games.

Sound. Until 2007, Meizu specialized only in audio players; this was the only direction in the company. Over time, the Chinese applied their experience to smartphones. The main difference between Pro-series devices and other “audiophile” phones with a discrete DAC is the complete audio path.

A favorite example is a comparison of Xiaomi Mi4i and Meizu Pro 5. The smartphones received the same ES9018K2M DAC, but the Pro 5 is equipped with an AD45275 amplifier with a Solo circuit and Rubycon film capacitors. It’s this holistic approach that makes the Pro line interesting for fans of high-quality sound.

The desire to create something new. Meizu from 2008–2012 is a typical Chinese company that spied on Apple and implemented their solutions. The result is constant courts. Over time, Meizu became more independent, stopped openly copying A-brands, and smartphones even acquired a recognizable design.

A case in point is the Pro 7 with an additional AMOLED screen on the back. This is new to the market. The manufacturer had an idea and was not afraid to implement it. I am sure that the desire to experiment is a sign of the company’s maturity. I hope Meizu will continue to develop in this direction.

Advantages of Xiaomi

Adreno graphics. There has been no difference between budget MediaTek and Qualcomm chips for a long time. Even flagship solutions are manufactured by both companies using an identical technical process - 10 nm. But the graphics are still Qualcomm's. For example, the Adreno 540 GPU in Snapdragon 835 (Xiaomi Mi 6) is almost twice as productive as the PowerVR 7400XT MP4 in Helio X30 (Meizu Pro 7 Plus). The differences are clearly noticeable in “heavy” games.

Meizu currently has only one smartphone based on Qualcomm SoC - M6 Note. The device is powered by an 8-core Snapdragon 625 with Adreno 506 graphics. According to rumors, the manufacturer will soon begin producing phones in the budget and mid-price segments on Exynos 7000-series chips, but for now Meizu’s main platform is MediaTek.

Custom firmware. According to Android fans, the main advantage of their favorite operating system over iOS is more customization options. Xiaomi fans can apply the same argument to Meizu smartphones. The fact is that it is almost impossible to unlock the bootloader on Meizu phones, so there are few custom firmwares, and the installation process is complicated. For Xiaomi, there is complete freedom - CyanogenMod, many assemblies on AOSP and even Flyme OS are available.

The Global Ecosystem in the Future . The MiJia division, a sub-brand of Xiaomi, includes almost 100 startups that develop smart home devices. The Chinese proudly call it an “ecosystem.” But the problem is that almost every gadget is connected through a separate program. And a single application, preferably built into the firmware, is the main element of this type of ecosystem.

In addition, Xiaomi engineers already know how to establish such interactions: the company’s phones have audio profiles installed by default for each model of Mi headphones. In the future, I would like to see a similar connection with smartphones in devices of the MiJia sub-brand. Once this happens, Xiaomi will have a truly global ecosystem.

After this material, the debate on the topic “Meizu or Xiaomi” can be stopped. Although, who am I kidding - write in the comments which company’s smartphones do you prefer and why.

Conclusion

Concluding our review, it would be time to find the answer to the question, which is better: Huawei or Xiaomi? But alas, there is no clear answer. It is important that when choosing, you decide for yourself: do you need a good camera or a large battery, do you want to receive comprehensive support from a certified service center or are you willing to give it up for the sake of the low price of the smartphone. We hope our material helped you understand the pros and cons of each brand, and now all that remains is to make the right choice.

Over the past 7 years, Huawei and Xiaomi have become especially popular. Future owners have not decided whether Xiaomi or Huawei is better. Each model has advantages and disadvantages. Let's talk about their difference today.

Content

Advantages of Huawei smartphones

In 2021, the company became one of the three leading phone manufacturers in the world, together with Apple and Samsung. Buyers in 2021 prefer Huawei to two other companies due to the advantages of the phone.

Variety of models

Huawei smartphones include affordable phones and professional flagships. The buyer will find a model for everyday use or a device for work, photography, design, etc.

The manufacturer uses 3 materials:

  • metal;
  • plastic;
  • glass.

The future owner will choose from a variety of functions, characteristics and hardware.

There are few original models among Xiaomi products. The devices are criticized for the same type in design, size and characteristics.

Chipsets of our own production

The company uses its own hardware, including the chipset. Apart from Huawei, only Apple and Samsung are doing this.

Such phones do not depend on other manufacturers in case of replacement of components.

When optimizing software, it goes quickly as soon as an update is released.

Own chipsets are installed on models p10, p10 lite, p20, etc.

Official representative offices in Russia and the CIS

Xiaomi distribution offices are located in most cities, but employees only sell phones, other devices and accessories. Official representatives are needed for high-quality repairs and assistance in operating the device; the model range is more extensive.

Network compatibility

All Huawei products in Russia are fully compatible with domestic networks. Smartphones from other companies are not always suitable for this parameter.

Original design

Huawei phones come in a variety of models and interesting designs. The appearance of the device is a secondary parameter, but a lot of attention is paid to this before buying.

Xiaomi rarely releases original models. Most of the devices are copies and similarities of popular companies.

Disadvantages of Huawei

Over the past 5-6 years, the production of devices has improved markedly. Many shortcomings have been eliminated, but the company still has disadvantages.

Poor orientation in the model range

One smartphone can be sold in different countries in several versions. This causes confusion.

For example, one version has a fingerprint scanner, another does not, although the characteristics indicate the same model type. Given the diversity of the market, it is difficult to understand it.

Buttons on the screen

Most of all Huawei phones have buttons displayed on the screen, and the company name is carved below. This applies to budget models that are affordable to most people.

Modern manufacturers are trying to expand the screen as much as possible, removing everything unnecessary. The image looks three-dimensional, as if there are no frames.

There is only one device in the Xiomi line with on-screen buttons, but its display is expanded for this.

Incompatible with grease-repellent coatings

This problem affects most Huawei devices. Each time the manufacturer indicates new reasons for the lack of protective coating (low status of the phone, poor functionality of the fingerprint scanner).

Xiaomi has a water-oil-repellent coating, although it wears off quickly with regular use.

High price

Since the company has become a global popular brand, the price of quality flagships has increased. You will have to pay for Chinese products, just like for a Samsung phone. As the cost of the device increases, so does the price for repairs and hardware upgrades.

There is an option to save on buying a smartphone from an online store.

However, in this case, the quality guarantee and professional service are lost, since the device was purchased from an unofficial representative.

Huawei loses against Xiaomi in this parameter.

Disadvantages of Xiaomi smartphones

The rise in popularity in China is slow. The company strives for first place in the market. In achieving this goal, it is hampered by product defects.

Firmware problems

The company is trying to produce various models of smartphones. The software suffers because of this. For example, a firmware update has already appeared in China, but in European countries you need to wait until the developer adapts it for a foreign user.

The firmware can be updated only for Chinese owners.

To gain access abroad, you have to contact unofficial companies. This approach creates glitches and malfunctions in the device.

In this regard, it is better to choose Huawei.

Poor software debugging

The company produces similar devices, but with different hardware. This approach creates problems for developers. They do not have time to update the software or fix operational problems.

The manufacturer uses hardware from different suppliers, which worsens the system update.

Using MediaTek chipsets

Xiaomi still uses them, despite the level of work and diversity of other companies. MediaTek chipsets are not of high quality. Due to their low functionality, stereotypes arise about the device overheating and the operation of smartphones slowing down.

Weak cameras

Xiaomi devices are not characterized by high quality filming. Rare models are equipped with good cameras.

Even if powerful hardware is installed, software errors will not allow you to create high-quality photos and videos.

This is noticeable compared to other phones whose manufacturers strive to reach the level of professional cameras. In 2021, the question of which is better, Xiaomi or Huawei, is considered in many ways, and one of them is the camera.

Poor product promotion

When a person has a question about whether to choose Xiaomi or Huawei, he pays attention to the popularity of the manufacturer. If Huawei promotes products with a careful plan, then Xiaomi tries to attract attention with chaotic actions.

The manufacturer wants to keep up with current trends for the sake of sales and popularity. More often than not, such actions cause outrage among users. The models are similar to each other, the owners get lost in the same type of devices. Buyers develop a negative attitude towards the company.

Review

The author examines in detail the question of which phone is better than Xiaomi or Huawei. The information remains relevant for 2021 to this day. The comparative characteristics are carefully considered in the review.

Reviews from former users help to compare flagships more thoroughly.

No lags, clear loud speaker, excellent cameras (both front and rear), wonderful design, very interesting “patterned” back cover, thanks to which minor scratches are not visible at all. The kit includes a film for the screen and headphones. And there are covers for it on Aliexpress

Recommendations for selection

If the user is willing to pay 10 thousand or more, it is better to give preference to Huawei devices. Powerful features and built-in performance are comparable to global brands.

Xiaomi is suitable as a budget option.

If the future owner does not require high configurations and functionality, you should not overpay for them.

Before purchasing you should do the following:

  • study the model range and pricing policy of each company;
  • find people's reviews of specific smartphones;
  • think about what characteristics the phone has.

A careful approach will help when choosing.
