How to enable the front camera on your phone?
When it comes to video calling, usually the front camera turns on automatically. This is especially true for laptops. But sometimes on tablets and smartphones you still have to do it manually.
Let's say you are communicating with a friend via WhatsApp or Skype, but the interlocutor does not see you or sees a completely different image instead of your face, that is, the main camera is turned on. How to turn on the front camera in this case? You need to find the icon indicating the camera and click on it. Usually after this there is a camera change.
If you intend to take a photo of yourself and are wondering how to turn on the front camera on an Android smartphone, the approximate procedure is as follows:
- activate (unlock) the smartphone screen;
- find the camera icon on the desktop or in the main menu;

Why flip the camera in Zoom
Flipping the camera is necessary in case of problems with the orientation of the picture. Errors occur in the application in which the program incorrectly detects the connected equipment. Because of this, the launched video is broadcast upside down.
An upside-down image makes it difficult to obtain information, especially when showing presentations and graphs.
Flipping the camera on the device is done through the service settings, but only on the computer. In Zoom for computers, there is an option that flips the video image 90 degrees. There is also a function for replacing the background and applying a mirror image.
Taking photos
1. If necessary, drag the control to the Camera position.
2. Change exposure and flash settings and other settings as desired. Alternatively, leave these settings at their default values.

3. Point your phone at your subject to frame the screen.

The camera will focus on the subject. If the image is in focus, the focus indicators at each corner of the screen will turn green, and then the photo will be taken.

Switch between front and rear camera
If your phone has both a front and rear camera (see your phone's user guide), you can choose which camera to take pictures with.

The viewing mode changes depending on the selected camera. Not all functions are available for the front camera (for example, flash).
Taking a photo using digital zoom
If your phone's camera supports digital zoom (see your phone's user manual), you can zoom in before shooting.
- Tap the zoom icon on your phone's 1x screen, then select the zoom level you want.

How to enable the front camera on iPhone?
